Thanks everyone for playing Soko Spectacle!

I have released an update that adds an “Extra” menu with more content:

Demo: 10 new levels from the demo that showcase mechanics from the base game. These levels should be quite easy if you’ve already completed the game. They can be played after the “Classy” outfit has been unlocked.

Halloween: 28 new halloween-themed levels. These levels are a bit more challenging and use new mechanics and ideas that didn’t make it into the initial release. They can be played after the “Mummy” outfit has been unlocked.

Mouse controls

The game is now fully playable with mouse! I don’t usually play block-pushing games with mouse, so please let me know if you encounter any issues with the controls.

Localization

The game is now available in 8 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese! The language can be set from the settings menu.

• Changed the player animation so that it doesn’t show pushing frames when trying to push a block that is partially over a void and cannot be pushed without falling into the void.

• Changed the location of save files from install directory to “%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Soko Spectacle/” (Windows) and “$HOME/.local/share/Soko Spectacle/” (Linux). This is to make it easier for the game to share new demo saves with the full game. For now the old files are kept to make sure no saves are lost during the transition, they should be safe to delete after you’ve launched the game once.
